Monthly vs yearly billing in Copit

· Published

New users can choose monthly or yearly at checkout. Active monthly subscribers can schedule a switch to yearly at their next renewal, with no immediate yearly charge.

The two base billing options

Copit supports:

The product access is the same. The difference is billing frequency and price.

Starting yearly as a new user

If you are not subscribed yet:

  1. Open the pricing section or Billing page.
  2. Select Yearly.
  3. Start checkout.
  4. Complete payment.
  5. Your account starts on yearly billing immediately.

If yearly is not visible, the yearly Paddle price may not be configured for the current environment.

Switching from monthly to yearly

If you already have an active monthly subscription, Copit does not cancel and recreate your account.

Instead, it schedules the same subscription to switch to yearly on the next renewal date.

That means:

Undoing a scheduled yearly switch

If you scheduled yearly by mistake:

  1. Go to Billing.
  2. Find the pending yearly switch state.
  3. Click or tap Undo scheduled switch.
  4. Confirm the subscription is back to monthly.

Do this before the renewal date.

What is not supported in v1

Copit does not currently provide an in-app yearly-to-monthly downgrade flow.

If that becomes necessary, contact support with the email on your Copit account.

How this relates to credits

Base subscription billing and credits are separate.

The base plan gives access to the app workflow. Credits are used for Profit Mode analysis. Paying yearly changes the billing cycle, not how Profit Mode credits work.
