Copy a marketplace search link into Copit

Use the address of your filtered search results, rather than an individual listing. Copy the full link from your browser, paste it into a Copit alert and check the imported search settings.

Copy the results-page address

  1. Open the marketplace website in your browser.
  2. Search for the item and apply the filters you need.
  3. Choose newest-first sorting where the marketplace offers it.
  4. Copy the full address from the browser’s address bar.
  5. In My Alerts, create an alert, select the marketplace and paste the address. Check the imported settings before saving.

If you opened a link from a marketplace app, first check where it leads in the browser. A product link or the general homepage does not describe a filtered search.

Details that depend on the marketplace

  • Vinted: use the Vinted country domain you intend to search. Confirm the category, size and price filters after importing.
  • Vestiaire Collective and Grailed: use a search-results link, with newest-first ordering where available. Recheck the imported filters rather than assuming the link contains every selection.
  • Depop: copy the search or category results link. The available sorting options can differ; Copit’s editor displays a coverage note for this source.
  • Poshmark: use the results-page address rather than a seller’s individual listing.
  • Mercari US and Mercari Japan: select the matching source in Copit. They have separate inventories and their links are not interchangeable. Mercari Japan size selections in supported search links are preserved.
  • The Luxury Closet and Joli Closet: use the filtered results link and check the imported designer, category and price settings.

If the imported search is wrong

Reopen the address you copied. Confirm that it shows the intended results and not one product. Change the filters on the marketplace, copy the updated address and try again.

For an existing Copit alert, open its editor and replace the link. Review the new settings before saving so you do not unintentionally change the source or broaden the search.
